Robbins TBM Rises above Water Inflows at Jinping
A 12.4 m (40.1 ft) Robbins Main Beam TBM is being assembled in an underground assembly chamber in China's Sichuan Province. The TBM is being built using Onsite First Time Assembly (OFTA), which will result in an earlier machine launch and reduced shipping risks.

Robbins TBM all Wrapped up in Iceland
Tunneling at the massive Kárahnjúkar Hydroelectric Project is now complete with the recent breakthrough of a Robbins TBM at the Jökulsá Diversion Tunnel. On April 9, 2008, the 7.2 m (23.7 ft) diameter machine ended its record-setting 8.7 km (5.4 mi) long drive.

Robbins TBM Completes Drainage Tunnels at Po Shan
A 3.5 m (11.5 ft) diameter Robbins TBM recently completed two drainage tunnels in Hong Kong without a conventional back-up system. Excavation of the short tunnels, measuring just 244 m (800 ft) and 165 m (541 ft) in length, concluded on March 17, 2008.

Landmark Onsite Assembly of Robbins Double Shield Completed
Onsite assembly of a massive 10.0 m (32.8 ft) Double Shield TBM has been completed in Andhra Pradesh, India. A ceremony was held on March 18, 2008 to mark the official launch of the Robbins machine.

Robbins TBM Goes on the Fast Track for Papua New Guinea Tunnel
A 5.6 m (18.4 ft) diameter High Performance (HP) Main Beam TBM will be delivered on a “fast track” program just six months after contract signing. The Robbins TBM will be used for a series of dewatering tunnels at the Ok Tedi Mine in Papua New Guinea.
